About Us

I have been a dog walker for four years now, we have a dog and guinea pigs ourselves. I have lived in Harrogate for about 20 years, for the last few in Oatlands and have children at the local schools. I love looking after all sorts of animals again it's the best job in the world and having a dog of our own and young children I'm also not squeamish! I used to work for the local pre-school and before that for HBOS, so I understand the need for discretion and confidentiality.

I was brought up surrounded by animals (cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, ducks etc) and that love of the outdoors and animals has always stayed with me. When working full time I kept small pets but was unable to keep a dog of my own - so I walked someone else's.

This was about 20 years ago and the concept of a paid dog walker hadn't been invented but I was lucky and persuaded a dog owner to let me borrow his 3 dogs to take on walks, a collie, a springer spaniel & a yorkshire terrier. He let me take them out for a walk whenever I wanted (which I did quite often). It was a great way to clear out the cobwebs after a day at work and great fun for us all.

I only cover Harrogate town - I like animals and the outdoors not driving. This also means I can keep my costs down and I have a good knowledge of the area I work in.

I have back up to help me if needed so you are not let down.
